Oh 2019 I bid you adieu...

Your time has passed and you are through

As I reflect and did endure

Behind me now and forward I steer

I’m ready for better and yet can’t forget

The progress I made and pain I offset

I’ll always be grateful

I’ll always be humble

I’ll carry on

And I will still stumble

But this I know now

No matter, no how

It’s ok to be me

To the future I see...

To every new day

Coming my way

Here’s my plan

I know I can...

To do my best

To face the test

To live and love

And rise above...

Each day I rise

I’ll close my eyes

For just a moment

For all endowment

Thank the lord for all of it

And know with him, I’ll get through it...

One step at a time...

To show mercy when needed

To hold onto me

To forgive and remember

It’s ok to be me

To learn every day

Something brand new

To help other people

And help myself too

To prove to oneself

Beyond anything else

My reason for being

To evil propulse

To laugh like a child

To sing with my heart
