Is it really
What we see
Inside now
Is reality
When once you stood
All alone
Now the earth
A lonely zone
Some have many,
Family blends
Then there’s us
Who wanted friends
Care was forced
With obligation
Different now
Across the nation
All the pillows
On our beds
Soaking tears
Sorrow spreads
In times like now
I have to say
It’s time to look
Not turn away
It’s only fear
Attacking you
Preying on
Your sense of value
We all get weak
At any length
But truly this
Allows our strength
From the deepest
Thought of failure
Remember here
Your behaviour
You are the one
With this power
It’s truly there
Every hour
The love you need
Before all others
Is the love
In you my brother
Embrace the hold
Fear has on you
Squeeze real hard
It will undo
For fear itself
Will show you care
For what you thought
Was not there
To see the dark
When there is light
Is what is needed
To win the fight
The light you need
Is always on
Sometimes you need
To just hold on

As we say in the south, "The Light Is On, But Nobody's Home." With our mystery visitor we have to be patient to survive. I like the message in the graphic asking us to hold on. We are such a we want it now society, we just sometimes refuse to hold on or take a deep breath before we dive. And the more we're isolated from one another with social distancing, the tougher the mental struggle becomes.
