‼️IT’S MY CHRISTMAS TOO‼️

I put my tree up today
There wasn’t anyone here
It had to be done
This time of year

I looked inside
The old tin can too
There was a picture
Of me and you

I really could care
But the memories I hide
Im starting over
I had to decide

It’s really just me now
I’m living here
You cannot hurt me
This Christmas, this year

So I put up my tree now
And it did not fall
It’s covered in magic
And I’m standing tall

This day in December
I’ll no longer feel pity
It’s a new life without you
Nor you hurting me

Another year has gone by
Another one to undo
The tears have run dry
It’s my Christmas too
