The best friend 

You ever had

Can help you through

When you are sad

A lapse of reason 

Is expressed

When you explore

With your friend best

Conversations 

With some others

Help you to share

Just like mothers

Opening 

Your story book

Is hard to do

When you look

There are pages 

You just hate

They are stained

By tears you make

They were written

Long before

But you don’t live there

Anymore

Isolation 

Came and went

Now with others

Time is spent

It feels so good

Just to visit

When once before

You were not in it

There inside you 

Is a creature

No human form

With selfless nature

This little light

Inside of you

Is your “self”

Your inner virtue

The best for self

And others too

Is to share

And care for you

When you’ve spent

Your outside wealth

Don’t be afraid

To spend on “self”
