Gear and things

People bought

Most everything

Work remotely

Missing friends

And our blessings

Family members

If they’re there

We do love

But pull our hair

In our space

We look around

Awaiting news

Of virus found

Delayed appointments

No procurement

When there’s a killer

Who needs enhancement

What happened in

This week of two

So much pain

I was in

Could not see

My dental friend

Just like the movie

“Castaway”

Tom Hanks alone

Forced tooth away

This Hollywood

And gripping scene

At 5am

Was my meme

I was driven

By the pain

It was driving

Me insane

I was not scared

Just had to do

Pull my tooth

Are insistent

When we are desperate

Missing pleasures
