In daily routine

Is just not living

It really is mean

How many times

Do we have to knock

Before we find out

We have a block

How do we feel

Results from thoughts

Refuse the “why’s”

And replace with “why not’s”

Sometimes we collide

With those in our passion

We trend the pages

With our common fashion

Every melody sung

Reveals a new word

It’s never the same

Each time it is heard

Sometimes it lasts

And others short lived

When the song is over

The composer forgives

Accept the drama

Acknowledge it so

Forgive self first

Adjust and let go

Do your best

Answer yourself

There is inside

A little smart elf

The message you send

And ones you receive

There is a reason

You have to believe

Answer the voice

God’s whisper in you

Apply it to others

This you must do

There are the reasons

And so many answers

Sing your own song

And move like dancers

When you do what you like

It all depends

If you you like what you do

Make no amends
