A multitude of feelings will invade
And make us think of all we’ve paid
Across the earth tears will roam
Opening doors within heart’s home
Locked inside the heart so deep
Are the secrets we all keep
We run away from dire truth
Forget the songs from our youth
In times of sorrow and of rain
Tears allow release of pain
What is allowed to exist
Concealing thoughts might resist
To feel emotion in the raw
Introduces soul to all
What is repressed
Sometimes won’t rest
When you are ready
And more steady
There will be moments
Allow condolence
Day after day wethers on
Every morning with the sun
What we allow is the keeper
What we ignore just cuts deeper
We rise and fall many times
Sing sad songs with the rhymes
As we wail and sing aloud
Good grief to hearts is allowed
With every echo from the past
No need to run, they will not last
Upon your knees you will find
A soothing cry will help your mind

Great words my dear friend. Written for the times. One has to think of the families who lost loved ones to COVID19 and their extended family of friends never got to say goodbye. Sometimes that final goodbye for this Earth is needed. In some ways tears help the heart heal. Gives it a much needed release. You pretty much nailed it with the words "Good Grief". Wednesday marks the 4th anniversary of my Mother's passing. Mother never wanted any tears. She so enjoyed laughter & humor, even to the end.

The s stories are pouring out of those who have died..heartbreaking and full of agony. My Uncle barely passed ...and then this. I was able to celebrate his funeral...but with #Covid19 people now do not get this. Grief is being challenged and people don’t know what to do... A good heart wrenching wail is sometimes waiting... it’s ok to let it out.. It’s so great you remember your mother’s joy? Grieving allows us to shed the heavy loss we feel and makes room for those #happy memories to stay. Lol. Oh Op sent #Kentucky soon ?? #Canada weather it seems .. cool and sunny here... Have a wonderful day my dear????
