As sudden as a sound
When you freeze in time
Something grabs your soul
And trembles in your spine

Perhaps you’re so inclined
To entertain this touch
Sometimes we do not notice
We’re too busy doing much

A sound from deep within
Keeps playing on your mind
They are the echos warning
You left something behind

The more you turn away
And hide within your shelter
The stronger they become
A never ending hunter

If you try to answer
A sound you cannot hear
Sometimes it really helps
To use your mind’s sightseer

When your soul is singing
It’s entertaining answers
The rhythm and the beat
Heart’s song is for the dancers

Lapsing in the moment
The dancer on her own
All the other dancers
Left and all went home

The stage in your nightmare
The sound of marching feet
You only have a moment
When the soul secretes

Forward to the sunset
Onward to the night
A dancer with her passion
Denies with all her might

There outside the door
Your mighty fist is formed
More power in the wrist
When you are just ignored

The music we all hear
And many we will mingle
The dancer with her dream
Always dances single
